Sister Emily searches for sisters for youth, helping Max guarantee her fall. witches Max steals their spell book and follows the cat, Binx, to escape from the sisters until the sun rises. Much of the humor in the film comes from the Sanderson meeting with 20th-century technology. Everything from light vehicles to buses is new and scary to the sisters. In Max’s search and spelling book, they misread the concept of costume. They find a man dressed as Satan and go to him for help, calling him the “Master”.
