The important thing about Mind Flayer from Stranger Things contrary to Demogorgon is that I would risk guessing that Demogorgon is a simple Upside Down predator, while I would suspect that the Mind Flayer controls Upside Down or at least especially the My Patronus is Jim Hopper Stranger Things shirt area where Hawkins finds himself connected. Demogorgon of D&D is quite similar, being the Prince of the Devil, he is an extremely powerful enemy. The great brute force from Demogorgon of D & D will be able to defeat his rival Stranger Things.
